Story Sypnosis
Murder and chaos are pitted against love and virtue in this sweeping gothic musical. The epic struggle between good and evil comes to life on stage in this musical that is based on the classic story by Robert Louis Stevenson with pop rock hits from multi-Grammy and Tony-nominated Frank Wildhorn and double-Oscar and Grammy-winning Leslie Bricusse. The story takes place in London, England in 1888 about two men-one a passionate and romantic doctor and the other a terrifying madman-and two women, both beautiful but polar opposites of society due to their social status. A devoted man of science, Dr. Henry Jekyll is driven to find a chemical breakthrough that can solve some of mankin's most challenging medical dilemas. Rebuffed by the powers that be, he decides to take matters into his own hands, accidently unleashing his inner demons and the man the world came to know as Edward Hyde.
