As always our deepest gratitude goes to our principal, Mr. Ron Okamura. Thank you for letting the MTG program be a major part of McKinley's offered programs! Without you, many programs here at McKinley High School, MTG and this show would not have been a success. We tip our hats off to you!
I would like to extend my gratitude and appreciation to our wonderful creative and production team members! Without each and every single one of you this season would not have been possible. I still have so much to learn and grow from and having you alongside me through this journey makes me feel that we can continue to move forward and make this program climb even higher. Words cannot express the gratitude and awe that I have for each one of you and your tremendous contributions. Dwayne Sakaguchi, Scott Takata, JC Messer, Joseph Nakamoto, Anson Bernal, Eren Star Padilla, Bartly Wilson, and MTG alumni John Cummings, III and Rockne Villaruel. A huge MAHALO to you all for the time, effort, and hard work you put in to make this a success. TAKE A BOW!
Thank you to our wonderful volunteers from McKinley High School students, faculty, staff, and our community helpers from our neighborhood. You all helped with our House needs for the box office, fundraising efforts, and ushering. We couldn't do it on our own and it truly goes to show that it takes a community to make this program a success. You all do such a wonerful job!
Thank you to the awesome programs that came together to showcase McKinley High School and what we can do when we work together! McKinley’s Art and Music Departments, Building & Construction from the STEM Academy, Graphic Arts & Design Program from the Tiger Media Learning Center Academy, and the Culinary Arts Program from the Business Academy. From the tiniest contributions to the crazy rush of getting our small and large details completed in time for the shows, my greatest and heartfelt thanks to each and everyone one of you!
To our MTG alumni family, thank you for always being a part of a rich history here at McKinley High School and supporting the continuation of the program! We are so happy and honored to have you with us on our journey. From supporting us from a far to working with our students and I, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. MTG FOREVER!
Thank you to the Windward Community College Hawai'i Conservatory for Performing Arts and their faculty and students for their support for our budding program. They have been just wonderful in providing needed costumes, vital information, and stage combat expertise and choreography. Thank you Taurie Kinoshita, Nicholas Logue, and Kat Lee. You all are super awesome and I am so honored to be able to work with you all!
And finally to all my wonderful students. Thank you for showing me what wonderful talents and beautiful hearts you all have. Together we've accomplished what seemed impossible, and made it into this; a show that we will always keep in our hearts and be remembered. No matter where we go and no matter what comes next in life, always remember what we can do and what it took to get there. You have your tools and experience for life and I am sure you all will be successful in all your future endevours. I am very proud of each one of you, and I also praise you in all your well earned glory of our theater program. You deserve it all and so much more. Take a bow!
