Dennis Babcock (Consulting Producer) is the Executive Producer of Triple Espresso worldwide and a 40-year veteran of the theater industry. He began his professional career as an actor at The Guthrie Theater. He later created the Live at Guthrie series as Guthrie’s Special Events Producer, which included such celebrities as Princess Grace of Monaco, Henry Fonda, James Whitmore, Robin Williams, and Julie Harris. Dennis was the Managing Director of the Pittsburgh Public Theater, General Manager of the Guthrie Theater, and President, CEO, and Chairman of the Board of Christmas Carol, Inc., which produced Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol starring Wilford Brimley and John Astin. Dennis formed many businesses, including PalmTree Productions, Inc., which produced such acclaimed shows as Vincent with Leonard Nimoy and Grandma Moses—An American Primitive with Cloris Leachman. He also collaborated with John Astin in the creation and original production of Once Upon A Midnight. Dennis has produced Triple Espresso in 60 plus cities in the United States and six foreign countries. During this time, he also developed Bob Stromberg’s one-man show, That Wonder Boy, and most recently, To Begin With, a story of Charles Dickens. Dennis has completed 28 marathons, on six of the seven continents, and served on the Board of Directors of the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon. Dennis has been honored to meet Her Majesty the Queen of England and the Duke of Edinburgh. For seven years, he also served as Chairman of the Board of Media Fellowship International, Inc., a Christian ministry that serves professionals in the media and entertainment industries.
Nayna Ramey (Scenic Designer) has been part of Triple Espresso‘s artistic team from the very beginning. Her regional work includes twenty seasons at American Players Theatre; resident designer at Chanhassen Theatres; other venues include Great Lakes Theatre Festival/Idaho Shakespeare Festival, Intiman Theatre; Indiana Repertory Theatre; Milwaukee Repertory Theatre; Kansas City Repertory Theatre; Shakespeare Santa Cruz; McKnight Theatre; Pantages Theatre; History Theatre; Mixed Blood Theatre and Actors Theatre of St. Paul.
John Markiewicz (Sound Designer) has over twenty-five years of experience in performance audio, live broadcast, recording, and installations. He is the owner of Audio Logic Systems, located in Eden Prairie, MN, an installation and full-service production company providing audio, video, and lighting services, as well as planning and consultation.
