Grease: School Edition - April 10 - April 12, 2025

Pine Ridge High School

 End Notes

NOTES FROM THE DIRECTOR

When I was a young girl, my family flew to Las Vegas to visit my grandparents. My grandmother was an avid theatre lover, and she took us to watch an afternoon production of GREASE at an outdoor venue. I remember being amazed as the actors performed on a rotating stage out in the Nevada sun. My Aunt Shelley was also a huge fan of GREASE, and she would always call my sister and I her little Pink Ladies. When Ms. B and I came across the school edition of GREASE, it was kismet.

I am proud of this production and all the hard work that has gone into the past three months of rehearsals. I am especially proud of the cooperation, level of commitment, and teamwork that was demonstrated by everyone involved in this production. I would like to extend my gratitude and to the parents, friends, family, and community that helped make this show a reality.

To Ms. Kenzie Bigott--

There is no way I could have made this production happen without you! Thank you for your hours of tireless dedication helping our cast know the difference between "du-wops" and and the other fun lyrics to the songs. I appreciate how much you inspire me and the students you have worked with to make this dream a reality. Thank you for your support and positive energy!

To my Seniors--it is bittersweet to know that we are concluing our final production of the year and that in just a few short weeks you will be graduating high school and moving into your next journey in life. I will cherish all the memories we have made on the Pine Ridge Stage and beyond. It is hard to see you go, but I am so excited to see what you will do in the future!

To my wonderful cast and crew--

Thank you for helping to bring the world of Danny and Sandy to ur stage. Thank you all for being part of my theatre family. Thank you for helping create this amazing--and memorable-production!

Finally, I would like to dedicate this production of GREASE to my family. Thank you for supporting me and helping me to grow into a better person and director. To my sister, my mother, and my neices-- you are my Pink Ladies and I am so blessed to have you in my life. To my late grandmother and aunt, thank you for inspiring my love of theatre and always letting me know how much family means.
