My daughter read the Roald Dahl books all summer and Matilda was an instant favorite. The musical was on my short list for a few years and one of the many, many reasons this musical resonated with me is the title character's tenacity and cleverness. Change is inevitable and difficult. Jumping into an established department was challenging but I've felt nothing but support from the PLP community and am very grateful that the students bought into the sweet, silly, quirky, odd show that is Matilda. I hope the show brings you as much joy watching it as we had making it come to life.
