When I think of classic musicals, “Annie, Jr.” comes to mind pretty quickly. I have always wanted to stage “Annie, Jr.”, and the group this year has proven to foot the bill for the classic songs and moves. I really enjoy the story of “Annie”, because it can fit in any generation. There is always hope that things can turn out for the better, even if it’s not how you planned. Not only does Annie believe that, but historically the “New Deal” provided that hope for the generations to come after the Depression. My hope is that each student in the show has come to understand the value of themselves and what they can offer any community. Congrats to the cast and crew for working hard and having fun while at it. It is always a bittersweet moment to see the show come to life knowing it will come to an end. Enjoy the show and remember, “The sun will come out tomorrow!”
