    Jill Ripa

    Director

    Jill Ripa is the proud Director of Theatre at Pieper High School after beginning the program both at Pieper Ranch Middle School and Pieper High School. Jill recently received her Master of Fine Arts Degree in Directing and excited to see this show come to life. Thank you to my student and my husband, Hector, for understanding all the late rehearsals.

    Andrew Specht

    Music Director

    Mr. Specht is in his second year as Director of Vocal and Piano Music at Pieper High School and has taught the past eleven years at the secondary level. Choirs under his direction consistently earn the highest recognition at contest, including two sweepstakes for receiving “superior” ratings in both concert and sight reading. In addition to teaching, Mr. Specht is active in the community as a voice teacher, conductor, clinician and performer.

    John Arroyo

    Choreographer

    John Arroyo was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Prior to joining the Pieper team as color guard director John has over a decade of experience teaching and designing for color guard teams in Southern California. With a wealth of experience teaching at every level some highlights include: Arcadia High School, Santa Clara Vanguard Cadets, The Arizona Academy, and most previously he was the color guard director at Esperanza High School. John was a performer with Fantasia winter guard, and the WGI world champion Santa Clara Vanguard Winter Guard. He also performed in Little Shop of Horrors and Suessical the Musical. In John’s free time he enjoys cooking, gardening and spending time with his two dogs Cash and Ollie. He’s had a blast creating with the theater department and is looking forward to the performances!

    Technical Director

    Bryan Stanton is pleased to join the faculty of Pieper High School this year as Theatre Technical Director. He is currently pursuing his Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Pedagogy to continue to explore new techniques and ways to teach theatre. He would like to thank the Comal Education Foundation for their support of Pieper Players' projection design project.
