Leo Lion, Director
Leo is an NYC-based director, writer, and educator, and Associate Artistic Director of Phoenix Theatre Ensemble. PTE Credits: Hedda Gabler (Director), Judas (AD), Duchess of Malfi (Delio). He is also the founder and Artistic Director of The Firebird Project, a national award-winning production company and youth leadership initiative that offers year-round programming for teen artists. Recent: Enemy of the People, Julius Caesar, The Tempest, R.U.R., Our Town, and mixed-age Romeo + Juliet. Leo is currently studying Theatre Directing at Fordham University. leolion.com.

Craig Smith*, Ivan Ilyich
Craig was an ensemble member of NYC’s prestigious Jean Cocteau Repertory where he made his artistic home for more than 3 decades appearing in over 200 productions from Stoppard to Shakespeare and Sophocles to Williams. In 2004 Craig and four colleagues founded Phoenix Theatre Ensemble, an Off-Broadway artist-directed ensemble presenting 3 to 6 productions of new and classical works annually, an award-winning arts-in-education program for NYC public schools, new-works programs, and NYC community activities. He is the recipient of the President of the Borough of Manhattan’s Award for Distinguished Achievement in the Arts and Community Service.
