A Note from the Director

Thank you so much to everyone who is coming to see Seussical Jr, which is my debut as main director of PAC! I have loved Seussical since my first theatre camp as a kid in 2009, where I fell in love with the story and the music. I am so excited to have passed on that love to a new generation of students. This would not have been possible without the help of so many people, but especially Shir Nagari, Rachel Horsley, Grace Kaskel, Gerry Francis, Brian Vondersmith, Erna Scarcella, and Austin Wilson, who have kept this production afloat since I brought my plans to them. Shir, Rachel, Brian, and Gerry made my visions and ideas come to life in ways I never could have on my own. Erna, Grace, and Austin helped my kids look and sound their best onstage. I could not be more thankful for this team, and will miss Erna, Rachel, and Gerry as their students move on to bigger and better things in high school. I also want to thank my administration, especially Mrs. Farmer, for all of their support on this project. Thank you for listening to my concerns, working with me to come up with solutions, and sacrificing your time to allow us to rehearse as much as we needed to to make this happen. Lastly, I want to thank the parents and students who made this possible. These children have worked so hard to put on a quality show, and it is largely thanks to the parents who picked kids up from rehearsals, motivated them to do their best, and helped out wherever they could. Parents, thank you for sharing your children with me. It has been an honor. I truly hope you all enjoy this beautiful story about lifting up the voices of those who are being wronged and unheard -- a story we could all use today and every day.

With Love,

Ingrid Wilson
