    This is Allyson Sawyer’s second year at PSHS as theatre director of the PSHS Theatre Company, Troupe #6219. Allyson received her BA and MA in theatre from UCLA’s School of Theatre, Film, and Television. Allyson previously taught drama at Margarita Middle School in Temecula, CA before arriving here at PSHS. Allyson has previously worked at Universal Motion Pictures Casting, MTV Programing, and served as a production assistant at Karma Kollective (a music video production company). Currently, Allyson helps coach the mascots at California Baptist University and has been doing so since 2012, even being Lance the Lancer for one year while getting her teaching credential. During her time at UCLA, Allyson served two years as the UCLA mascots Joe and Josie Bruin and travelled all over the world making appearances and filming commercials. Allyson has previously directed “You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown,” “Almost, Maine,” “You Can’t Take It With You,” and “All In The Timing.”

    Matt Ingelson is a second generation musician and music educator. An alumni of PSHS, Matt graduated from VanderCook College of Music in Chicago, Illinois with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education in May of 2014. At VanderCook, he served as principal trumpet of all school ensembles including the wind ensemble, symphonic band, jazz band, brass ensembles, and orchestra. He was a featured soloist at the Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic three times under the batons of Dr. Charles Menghini, Gary Green, and Frank Tichelli. He was also a member of the Northwest Chicago Symphony, Northwest Festival Orchestra, and Chicago Metropolitan Brass Ensemble. He has lead groups that performed for several public events with Mayor Rahm Emmanuel and on TEDxIIT. After college, he performed briefly as the designated jazz soloist on board Royal Caribbean’s “Jewel of the Seas” where he performed with notable performers Kenny James and Tony Tillman.
