Amy Bahnson
Reed 4 - Basson
Amy graduated with a B.S. in Music Education from Manchester College playing flute and bassoon. She taught elementary music and private lessons for three years at a mission school in Jos, Nigeria. Amy also worked on a church staff with children and youth and is a substitute teacher for PSUSD. Music has been an important part of her life. She has performed in the pit for “Man of La Mancha,” “Fiddler on the Roof,” and “Bells are Ringing.” Music has also taken her many places such as Bermuda, Scotland, NYC, and Nigeria. As a volunteer with the PSHS Band Boosters, it’s a joy for her to play with these great musicians under the direction of a former student for whom she has been a sub. L’chaim!

Dorian McWain
Reed 5 - Oboe/English Horn and Solos
A native of upstate New York, Dorian has been involved with music performance since his high school years in the Adirondacks. His passion for music led him to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Music Business at the reputable State University of New York at Fredonia's School of Music. Though his core curriculum focused on business coursework he carved out a significant amount of study on woodwinds during his time at university. In May 2013 he relocated from San Diego, CA where he performed several seasons with one of the city's premier vocal ensembles, the San Diego Master Chorale. Dorian actively plays oboe and english horn with several local ensembles including the Desert Chamber Orchestra, the Desert Winds Freedom Band and the Coachella Valley Symphony.
