Layla is a 6th grader and loves her role and being in the play with everyone. Her hobbies include dance and drama. Layla is no stranger to the stage, as she has performed in many OEC productions, such as Seussical the Musical, Jr., Annie, Jr. and The Wiz. She dances outside of school as well. Layla is most grateful for her family and friends for their encouragement.
Zekai Ali-Reese

as Troy Bolton

Zekai is an 8th grader. He is so happy to play the role of Troy Bolton and be with all his friends. His favorite subject in school is math. Zekai has also performed in OEC's production of The Wiz. He is most grateful for his Mom because she supports him and he is also happy that he found the inner strength needed to push himself to do the play.
Muneerah Chowdhury

as Taylor McKessie

Muneerah is an 8th grader and is having fun in her debut role as Taylor. Her favorite subject is ELA and one of her favorite things to do is doodle and read books. She is grateful for her OEC friends for being with her for the past 8 years and being very supportive and kind.
Ashton Woodard

as Chad Danforth

Ashton is in 8th grade. He is having fun playing the role of Chad. His favorite subject in school is math and his hobbies include playing sports, acting, and having fun! Ashton has been in several plays at OEC including Annie, Jr., The Wiz and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Ashton is thankful for the support of his friends and family.
