  • Amy Heitman

    Assist. Director

    AMY HEITMAN is a fourth grade teacher at Weston Elementary, with an amazing support system of friends & family who also love theatre. She has a BA from the University of Minnesota & has been acting for over 18 years. She co-directed her first play, STEEL MAGNOLIAS, three years ago. She is especially proud of her roles in ANNIE (Grace), BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (Wardrobe) & countless murder mystery roles. Amy is so excited to be an assistant director of this amazing show, LITTLE WOMEN, with her wonderful friend, Nicole. When she isn’t concentrating on theatre, Amy is focused on playing with her daughter, Lyra, watching Netflix with her husband, Chris, or hanging with friends & family.

  • Mary Catherine Polesnak

    Choreographer

    MARY CATHERINE POLESNAK is delighted to be choreographer for this musical, which has a special place in her heart from her time at Viterbo University. Some of her favorite credits include: A CHORUS LINE, PIPPIN, and BEAUTY & THE BEAST. She hopes you enjoy the show as much as she does.

  • Nicole Stephens

    Director

    NICOLE STEPHENS has been involved in the theater & arts world since she was a small child & in the Wausau community theater scene for over 10 years.  She is one of the founding members & manager of Out of the Woods Theatre. This is Nicole’s third time directing a local production -- her first being Steel Magnolias for Artista! Players. A cum laude graduate of UW-Eau Claire, Nicole has worn many hats over the years. She began as intrepid journalist well before earning her BA in Broadcast Journalism at UWEC. She then made a major change and pursued a career as an Esthetician & Cosmetologist, successfully operating Euphoria Spalon for over 7 years before having to retire for health reasons. She is excited to spend her “retirement” years baking up a storm & devoting her many talents to Out of the Woods Theatre and the Master Gardener Volunteers.
