Carolyn Allen
as Annelle Dupuy-Desoto
Carolyn Allen is the mother of five children and the grandmother of three. She started her love of Theater as a Junior in Orange High School, under the direction of Deryl McGuire. Carolyn joined OCP a few years ago, and then became a Board member two years ago. She enjoys all aspects of theater, behind the scenes as well as on stage. She has been in SOUTH PACIFIC, JOSEPH, and many others. She is very excited to be playing the role of Annelle in Steel Magnolias. It has always been one of her favorite plays. She would like to thank her sister for great direction and support, and also her Husband, children, and family.

Debra Davidson
as Truvy Jones
Debra Davidson has participated in community and regional theatre productions for many years, most recently appearing as Mona in the OCP production of DAMES AT SEA and serving as Musical Director for CINDERELLA. In her 'real life' she is a professor of education at Greensboro College.

Kelly Durfey
as Shelby Eatenton-Latcherie
Kelly Durfey is very excited to be part of STEEL MAGNOLIAS, her second show with OCP. She fell in love with acting in the 5th grade when she was in her very first performance, THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER. She is originally from Knoxville Tennessee and has lived in Hillsborough for the past 6 years. She is a wife to Noel and mom to Savannah and Olivia. She teaches piano, loves riding her horse, volunteers in schools and the community, and is actively involved in her church. She also happens to be a huge football fan...go Duke! She would like to thank the OCP family for a fabulous theater experience and her family for being so very supportive and allowing her to spend many nights practicing instead of home fixing dinner!
