Anne DiGiovanni sent the ultimate goodbye email when she quit her corporate job to pursue songwriting in early 2022: a link to the music video for her duo Only Bricks’ latest single, “Smile, It’s Over :)” that tells her co-workers to “Please keep in touch at 1-800-U-CAN-SUCKIT.” Only Bricks released an acclaimed EP of pop songs in 2018, and their singles and music videos have amassed over a million streams since. Anne now performs as deegie, a pop punk princess who shines a klieg light on the truth of being a woman who is raw, bold, and fierce. She released an EP called EXES about her ex-boyfriends with their names in the titles and debuted EXES: The Musical in a sold-out performance at The Hudson Theatre in Los Angeles in October 2024. deegie is currently releasing songs off her forthcoming EP, Feminism 101, documenting women’s experiences in a man’s world.

Director
Olivia Facini is a director, producer, and playwright based in New York. She has worked with large theater institutions, smaller ensembles, and freelance artists, including 600 HIGHWAYMEN, Atlantic Theater Company, Clubbed Thumb, Mercury Store, Moxie Arts, New Georges, Talking Band, The 24 Hour Plays, The Associates Theater Ensemble, The Hearth, and Williamstown Theatre Festival. She is proud to have received a New York State Assembly Citation for her contributions to arts activism.
