DIRECTOR'S NOTE

“Inclusive, Diverse, Equitable”—those are the first 3 words you will see below the title when you go to olivebranchtheatricals.com. The embodiment of those words is what first drew me to this company; with no other theatre troupe have I truly experienced that ‘all’ really does mean ALL are welcome and ‘fair’ means everyone gets what they need out of the experience even if that might be a little different from the person sitting right next to them.

Pinkalicious is the perfect story to introduce us all to that inclusive way of thinking. The character Pinkalicious sees creative possibilities everywhere. She knows no bounds—especially when they involve the color pink! She is inspired by what she thinks is beautiful and loves imagining and creating. This is a creative act for herself but she also loves inspiring others to be creative in their own ways and celebrating their successes with them.

Thank you for joining us on this adventure; it’s an adventure to prove that anything really is possible. Because we can create whatever we want to, right? After all, we can create a pretty painting, cultivate a lovely garden, work toward building a more charitable workplace, start looking at problem-solving in a new way…but it’s going to take ALL of us…together.

It seems that if you THINK PINK long and hard enough, the sky’s the limit!
