Kirby Flowers
as The Interpreter/ Guard
is a sophomore at OHIO studying music therapy. While this is his first show with OVST, this will be Kirby's 20th time on stage in a theatrical production. Some of Kirby's past productions have included roles like Donkey in Shrek: The Musical; The Baker in Into The Woods; and Captain Hook in Peter Pan. Kirby thanks his friends and family for always being supportive of him in all that he does.

Faizul Huq
as The Kralahome
is getting back into the theatre scene after a 24-year hiatus. His last acting gig was in 1989 in Dallas. Previously, he was Lysander in Midsummer Night’s Dream; Linzmann in Liliom; Yellow Feather in Little Mary Sunshine; and other roles. He is a professor of operations management in Ohio University’s College of Business. Faizul has four children and lives in Athens with his lovely wife, Kelly.

Joseph Balding
as The King
is a familiar face to the local theatre scene and has been involved in community theatre for over 30 years. He is a founding member of ABC Players which perform at Stuart's Opera House in Nelsonville, Ohio. Joe has served as a member of the OVST Board and received its Kantner Award. Joe thanks the director for the opportunity of performing this classic role—it has become one of his favorites.

Daniel Wasserman
as Phra Alack
is a rising senior at Athens High School. A member of the AHS Drama Club, he has played the roles of Blifil in Tom Jones, Uncle Henry in The Wizard of Oz, Martin Vanderhof in You Can't Take it With You, and Mr. Myers in Fame. This is Daniel's fourth summer performing with OVST. He has also participated in the OVST Summer Youth Camp for the past three years.

Haile Ferrier
as Tuptim
is 15 years old and will be a sophomore at Athens High School. She has been in over 15 shows, including Les Miserables, The Music Man, and You're a Good Man Charlie Brown. She has also participated in a two-week dance intensive in New York City. She thanks her parents for their support and flexibility as she gets closer to reaching her goal of performing on the Broadway stage.
