Director
Prior to moving from TX to LA in 2010, Samantha Young spent many years participating in theatre as an actor, director, and judge. Theatre was a big part of life from high school through college and in the first 7 years of Mrs. Young’s teaching career, so it felt like something was missing without it. With a little push from a colleague, she created Company OGP to bring the magic of theatre to Oak Grove. Young recruited the help of Talented Theatre Teacher, Amy Gomez, and together this is their 3rd production. In her spare time…what is that??

Amy Gomez
Director/Choreographer
Amy serves as a Talented Theatre teacher in Ascension Parish. Her past directorial credits include Junie B. Jones the Musical(Playmakers BR), Be My Ghost & Into the Enchanted Book(Company OGP). She is with Theatre Baton Rouge where she teaches workshops for young actors. She holds a BFA in Theatre Performance at LSU. Some of her past theatrical acting credits include Alice in Wonderland (Queen of Hearts), Five Women Wearing the Same Dress (Frances), and Always Patsy Cline (The Jordainaires). She thanks Sam & her family for their love & support!

Jennifer has loved being part of the behind the scenes team, and is so grateful for the opportunity to help showcase Matilda the Musical, Jr! She holds BS and MS degrees from LSU, is an active volunteer, and has been an OGP parent for 9 consecutive years. Her favorite part of being involved with Company OGP is seeing students gain confidence and grow with each and every show. She thanks Ms. Young and Ms. Amy for the opportunity to get involved and for their many, many hours of work put into making these productions possible.
