    J’aire Pearson is honored to lead the Newsies as they sell their final papes! This show is truly bittersweet, since it is his last with NHS. J’aire has always been a motivated performer, previously starring as Young Simba in The Lion King, The Scarecrow in The Wiz, Lord Pinkleton in Cinderella, and Lysander in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. After he graduates, he plans to continue studying voice and performance on the collegiate level. J’aire is extremely grateful to his mentor, Mr. Oliveri, for always pushing him to succeed. He would also like to thank his extraordinary friends for inspiring him and always encouraging him both on and offstage. Newsies: hit the streets!

    Roddy Jimenez is a sophomore at P-TECH Norwalk and he plays the role of Crutchie in Norwalk High School’s production of Newsies. Roddy has been in theater since he was in middle school. Roddy was in the ensemble for both Mary Poppins Jr. and Frozen Jr. and played Coach Bolton in High School Musical Jr. He played Steve in Almost, Maine and ensemble in Cinderella. He also played Flute/Thisbe in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. He is proud to be playing Crutchie in Norwalk High’s version of Newsies. He wants to thank  his friends and family for supporting him throughout the years. He is excited to be performing alongside his fellow cast members. He also wants to thank Mr. McAfee and Mr. Oliveri for this amazing experience. And for the audience, he hopes that you enjoy the show as much as did making it!

    Sean Tagariello is a junior at Norwalk High School  and is so excited to be playing the role of “Race” in his first NHS production,  Newsies! In addition to his work with NHS, Sean is a proud student of Rising Stars Performing Arts, Santaniello Vocal Studios, and the Norwalk Metropolitan Youth Ballet. Sean deeply thanks his family, friends, and mentors for all their support, and hopes you enjoy the show!
