Charish is a senior here at North Kansas City High School. She has been in Northtown theatre association for 3 years. She was in Shrek! The Musical as the dragon and Catch Me If You Can as Mindy and Nurse 1. Now she is Tracy and Hairspray and very proud that Hairspray is the last show on the original Northtown stage. She would like to thank her parents for supporting her and letting her do what she loves. She would also like to thank her best friends for being her biggest supporters and cheering her on.

Sage is a junior and has been involved in theatre for all three years of high school so far, though she got her start at a very young age. Her favorite roles have been Uzo/Herself in Godspell at FBCNKC, Stanley in One Man, Two Guvnors and Dr. Horrible in Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog, both at NKCHS. She would like to thank her fellow officers for working to make the NTA better and her mother for the theatrical influence she’s had in Sage’s life.

Sophia Mesa has performed throughout middle school and high school in musicals and talent shows. She has played Gabriella Montez in High School Musical Jr., Gertrude McFuzz in Suessical Jr., a chorus member in Suessical the Musical, Gingey in Shrek the Musical and Brenda Strong in Catch Me if You Can. “Hairspray” will be her sixth musical and she is loving the experience!!

Katy is 15 years old and is a sophomore. This is Katy’s second show at North Kansas City high school. She was in Catch Me If You Can last fall as Cheryl Ann and was in Godspell as Lindsey at North Kansas City First Baptist Church. She loves working with the cast in hairspray and would like to wish them all good luck. She would like to thank her parents and friends for supporting her.
