Adam Peterson
Director/Production Manager
Originally from Norfolk, Adam Peterson is a speech instructor and the Director of Theatre at NECC. He has an MFA in Theatre Directing from East 15 Acting School in London. He also attended the Indonesian Institute of Arts in Bali, the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts in Moscow, and the Broadway Teacher’s Workshop in NYC. Last year, Adam was awarded the Road Warrior recognition from the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival for serving as a respondent to many University productions in the region. In his free time, Adam enjoys disc golf, kayaking, hiking, and camping with his family. He thanks you, the audience, for supporting the performing arts in your community.

Amber Doughty
Assistant Director
Amber Doughty is a communications and theater teacher at Norfolk Junior High School and a debate coach for Norfolk Senior High. Both her Bachelor’s degree in ELA secondary education and Master’s Degree in Administration are from Wayne State College. Amber participated in theater throughout high school both on and off stage. Since college her focus has been on directing young people in their shows. She is excited to try her hand in community theater for the first time. Outside of theater, Amber enjoys traveling, baking, and reading. She welcomes you tonight and challenges you to figure out who done it!

Jay Grote
Assistant Stage Manager
Jay Grote is a Northeast employee who is excited to be back in the theatre world. He also plays bass clarinet in the college and community concert band. His previous roles in Way Out West in a Dress, The Music Man, Fiddler on the Roof, and the Best Christmas Pageant Ever inspired him to return to stage work. He hopes you enjoy the show
