This show is dedicated to the memory of Bob Mooty and to the cast and crew of the original Newport Theatre Guild Production. The Sound of Music was the first production of the Newport Theatre Guild in 1990. Several members of the current cast performed in this premiere production thirty years ago. Today, NTG strives to honor the hard work and talent of those who established the opportunity to participate in performing arts in Newport and Cocke County.
