Notes from the Director

Mamma Mia! is a modern classic featuring the toe stepping popular tunes of the band Abba. In our production, we wanted to keep the show fun and fresh by inviting you, the audience, to join us in the singing and dancing of these iconic songs. Let the memories wash over you, thinking about where you were the last time you heard these songs or enjoy them for the first time with us! And, lucky for us, the whole creative process leading up to this moment was a blast too! "Thank You For the Music", Zach Spencer. Max Oliver, you have been an amazing "Dancing Queen" with your inventive and creative choreo. Jeff Ditto, I couldn't give you enough "Money, Money, Money" in the world for all you have done to make this production come alive. A special thank you to the High Street Arts Center, for "Tak[ing] A Chance" on loaning us the costumes. Thank you to admin, staff, parents, and especially the Booster parents for all the support you "Gimme, Gimme, Gimme" me and the program. A special thank you to Mr. Atkins for "Knowing Me" and what I need. Mr. Bateman and Mrs. Freedman thank you for "Laying All Your Love On" us with your beautiful photography. Thank you to Rick Freed for the bagpipes and Jack Bernard, for just being you. To my "Chiquititas" both on and off the stage, you make this show truly shine with your love and energy. And an amazing thank you to my "Honey, Honey", who is ever supportive of me and what I do. We hope you enjoy this fun production and don't be afraid to let your inner Dancing Queen come out for a dance!
