Abbey Cavalancia is thrilled to be working with New Albany Community Playhouse on their production of The Last Five Years. Abbey has lived in the New Albany area for most of her life, graduating from New Albany High School in 2014, and has thoroughly enjoyed her time working with NACP. Some of her previous roles include Audrey (Little Shop of Horrors), Dorothy Brock (42nd Street), and Vivian Kensington (Legally Blonde: The Musical). Off-stage, Abbey spends her time working with students and the worship team at Five14 Church and can usually be found reading a book or spending time with friends and family.

Matthew McVay
as Jamie Wellerstein
Matthew McVay is excited to be joining The Last Five Years as Jamie. His prior roles have been Captain Phoebus from The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Leaf Coneybear from 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Bobby Strong from Urinetown. He’s incredibly thankful to all who have come to show their support. Enjoy the show!

Hal Houston
Director/Lighting Designer
Hal Houston holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Directing from California State University, Long Beach and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from University of San Francisco. An award winning actor, director and designer, his recent shows include Falsettos at Curtain Players and Into the Woods and Urinetown at NACP. As always Hal thanks his family for supporting his theatrical dreams.
