    Addison Walden, Director

Addison was a student at NFHS before he started working here. After graduating, he went to GCSU where he earned a Theatre BA and an Education MAT. One of his notable roles while at GCSU was as Hank/Vet in A PIECE OF MY HEART! This is where he first learned about the show and quickly fell in love with it. APOMH is the 8th show Walden has directed at North. Some past favorites include STREETCAR and TREASURE ISLAND. Walden would like to thank his wife April for always being supportive of the program, the students, and of him. He is so thankful he got the experience of working so closely with her on this project. He’s appreciated her as an artisan for a long time, but now respects her as an artist. Walden would also like to thank his daughters Brianna (6) and Raleigh (4) for lending their daddy out to these 25 young adults for the past 2 months. He loves his girls so very much!

She came back in 2013 when her husband Mr. Walden was brought on to the theatre staff. April received a BA in Mass Communication from Georgia College and State University in 2009. She married Addison in 2010. They have 2 daughters. Brianna, 6 and Raleigh, 4. She loves being the First Lady of the theatre department and having the opportunity to work with these amazing students. Thank you to Addison for letting her be a part of the magic, to her girls for coming to rehearsals, and to the kids for their love and respect. She feels so blessed to be part of this family!
