Channelling Grimm - May 18

Muriel Clayton Middle School

 Acknowledgements

We are so excited to be holding our first performance since 2019 and the opportunity to start developing our drama program. This year's performance has truly been a labour of love from our talented actors, staff and community members. Without the tireless committment of all involved, this year's production would not have been possible. The entire ensemble would like to say a very special thank you to the following:

-The parents and teachers of the ensemble and crew for their cooperation and understanding of the time commitment necessary for the success of this production.

-The grade 7 and 8 crew for the extensive time and effort that was put in to creating the most impressive and detailed sets. The display cases and advertising to promote the play throughout the school. Finally, just the incredible amount of work of all students both in class and out to see all the behind the scene elements come together to make this production possible. We are truly grateful for your time and commitment.

-The continued support of all MCMS staff in some capacity. We would not be able to put on a production like this without the support of the best staff of any school.

-Mrs. Anderson for stepping up and helping with anything and everything we could need in the weeks leading up to the production like mastering our sound system and being behind the scenes during the production.

-Ms. Champagne's dad, Tom, for the creation of some of our set pieces and continued ingenuity needed for such a dynamic production. We were also very excited to have another chance to use the sets that were built before covid and only used for one production.

-The front end staff for dealing with our incessant questions and accepting all of our Amazon purchases.

-Mrs. Sellan and Mrs. Gervais for their support in this extra curricular endeavour.

-The P.E. department for allowing us to commandeer the old gym for rehearsals and especially the week of the production.

-The custodial staff and all their patience and understanding during our after school and late rehearsals.

-Mr. Lowe's foods class for providing delicious treats for the evening performance.

Thank you for everything you have done. Without you, this would not have been possible!

~Mrs. Youngs and Ms. Champagne
