    Director

Sara Dunlap-Bogan (Director/Producer) is ecstatic to be working with such an amazing group of people here at Mount Si to produce Newsies! This is her third year at Mount Si, and she loves the passion and enthusiasm these students put into their work. Sara is a Washington state certified teacher with a BA in Performance Studies from Louisiana State University and an MA in Theatre Education from Emerson College in Boston. She has taught and directed students of all ages in both traditional school settings and theatre-based programs. Most recently, Sara worked extensively with Studio East’s drama outreach program and taught at Open Window School in Bellevue. When she isn’t teaching, Sara enjoys writing and spending time with her husband and two young boys. She’s looking forward to building the drama program at Mount Si to give these talented and ambitious students more opportunities to do what they love. Extra love & endless thanks to her amazing production team!

  • Kelly Husted head shot

    Kelly Husted

    Assistant Director

Kelly Husted feels incredibly lucky to be working with Sara on her second production at MSHS. Formerly a dedicated theater student, she has refused to move on and continues to boss around everyone in the program. In addition to last year's production of Shrek the Musical, she previously wrote and directed Moats and Monsters for Dramafest 2019 and is now working on future writing projects with her nonexistent free time. She would like to thank the cast and crew for going above and beyond every day, and Sara for being a wonderful mentor and bringing this program to new heights.

  • Angela McGann head shot

    Angela McGann

    Musical Director

Angela McGann (Music Director) is thrilled to be spending her second year as Music Director at Mt Si HS, working on Newsies with this amazing cast! She is a voice teacher and owns Cascade Voice Academy here in Snoqualmie. Angela has a BA in Music Performance with a focus on Voice from Allegheny College in PA and an MA in music education from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Angela spent many years teaching private voice lessons, contracting to direct school musicals and plays, then went on to teach high school theatre and choir. Since the birth of her two wonderful boys, 12 years ago, she has been joyfully back to teaching in her own private studio. Angela loves working with students from any musical background, experience level and style. This group is particularly wonderful to work with! Thanks for having me as Music Director Mt Si High!
