May We All - March 06 - March 09, 2025

Monticello High School Theatre Department

   Senior Bios

As you can see, our senior class is a large one. We are incredibly grateful for their leadership and proud of how each has grown during their time on our stage. Watching them rehearse each night has been a joy, but truly knowing them — their hopes, their dreams, their hearts — has been an honor. Join us in celebrating them one last time!

Kyndal Cafin (ensemble)

I have been doing theater for over 10 years, from youth groups through high school. However, the first show I was in was The Wizard of Oz, and I fell in love. After that, I have been in musicals like Willy Wonka Jr., Chicago, Grease, Beauty and the Beast, We Will Rock You, Sister Act, and lastly, May We All. Additionally, I student-directed The Bugs. If I could go back in time and do it all again, I would. I have met so many of the people I love doing theater. After high school, I plan to take a gap year to work, and then I hope to attend culinary school and become a pastry chef. My favorite moment in the MHS Thespians program was the opening night of Grease, my freshmen year, feeling how pumped everyone was backstage, hearing the start of the song, and knowing it was a full house.  That is a feeling I can’t describe to anyone, but it felt amazing! I’d also like to thank my older sister, Danielle Cafin, for introducing me to theater. I love you, Dani! And thank you to everyone I’ve met through Thespians; I love you all!

Maya Cremeens (Jenna)

Thespians has been a major part of my high school experience. I have done the musical every year and a few of the plays. I had the honor of co-directing this year’s winter play at Monticello Theatre Association with my best friend, Tatum Wichus. I can’t pick out a favorite memory because I have cherished every moment I've spent with the thespians, and a great memory has come out of every rehearsal, audition, and show. I will always value my friendships through this group and the lessons it has taught me. I will miss spending so much of my time with some of the people I love most. After high school, I will attend Southern Illinois University-Carbondale to study Radiologic Sciences.  I wish all thespians—past, present, and future—the best of luck! Thank you for coming, and enjoy the show!

Lynette Fenelon (RuAnn)

I first started Thespians my sophomore year because so many people told me I would be really good at theatre, and I just HAD to try it out. When musical rehearsals started, I instantly fell in love with everything. The first musical I ever did was We Will Rock You, and memories from that will never leave my side. I’ve had the honor of being in WWRY, Sister Act, and two senior-directed plays. I have made so many new friends and met so many different people that I never thought I’d ever talk to. The bonds I’ve made with people will be something I will forever cherish and hold close to my heart. After high school, I plan on majoring in elementary education. The theatre program has helped me grow as an individual and let me shine in the best ways possible. I can’t wait to finish sharing the spotlight with everyone here and pass it on to those in the near future. I believe everyone deserves to be in the spotlight at least once. All that matters is how they use it.
