Gwendolyn Lukas-Doctor
as Director
Gwendolyn, AKA "Doc", has been Monarch's Drama Director since 2004. Before becoming a full-time Theatre teacher, Doc was a professional actress at The Denver Victorian Playhouse where she was seen in such roles as Doris Walker in Miracle on 34th Street, and Something Something Snetsky in Neil Simon's Fools. When not working with her beloved Thespians, Doc loves to spend time with her family camping, gardening, tending to her chickens, and loving on her pets. She would like to thank her husband and kids for their never-ending love and support.
Kate Klotz
as Director
Kate Klotz is thrilled to be co-directing Mamma Mia! Ms. Klotz joined the Performing Arts team in 2019 as the Director of Choirs, and she is an active performer and choral conductor in the Boulder-Denver area. Outside of school, Ms. Klotz loves to travel, be outside, practice yoga, and spend time with her poodle puppy. She would like to thank her amazing colleagues and students for constantly inspiring her, and her wonderful husband, Nathan, for his unending support.
