Mr. Dalton Miles (technical) is a 7-12th grades English teacher in the Mineral Point School District. He is thankful for his wife, Mackenna, for taking care of their two dogs, Tootsie and Plum, while he works with the musical theatre team during these busy few weeks. He enjoys working with students in the classroom and values opportunities to support students in their outside interests.
Mrs. Lisa Duwell (costumes): "This is the 11th show I’ve helped costume for Mineral Point High School. I love getting to know the kids and helping them find their characters in their costumes. Mr. Matt Nevers (pit orchestra) earned his Bachelor of Music Education at UW-Platteville in 2002 and his Master's Degree in Instrumental Music Education from VanderCook College of Music in 2008. Mr. Nevers currently teaches 6-12th grades Instrumental Music as well as the college level Music and Culture course through UW-Oshkosh. Mr. Nevers also is a co-leader for the Mineral Point, WI/Redruth, Cornwall Student Exchange Program. He is the conductor of the Mineral Point City Band, and a frequent guest conductor of the Lancaster Community Band. Mr. Nevers also performs trombone in different area concert bands and pit orchestras as well as the Driftless Bones trombone ensemble. Mr. Nevers is a 2017 recipient of the Kohl Teacher Fellowship. He is a member for National Band Association, Wisconsin Music Educators Association, and National Association for Music Education.
