Derek Hottenstein
as Underling
Derek is a junior and returning cast member. Being a newly minted upperclassman, he has quite a bit of experience in theater. He’s played the roles of Abu in Aladdin, Chip in Beauty and the Beast, and (fittingly) Nick Piazza in Fame. In his third MP Theater show, he’s embodying Underling in the outlandish meta-comedy The Drowsy Chaperone.

Eli Klein
Eli Klein is in his first year of high school. He plays trombone in band, along with being a bass in choir. His interests include playing disc golf, films in general, and annoying his friends. His favorite character is the chaperone because of her “I don’t care” look. Safe to say, he’s excited about this.

Finn Renwick
Finn Renwick has been in the MPHS musical for 2 years at this point in his life. He is involved with the HS band and choir. Outside of the performing arts, he enjoys drawing/illustration, TV/Movies, playing games with friends, reading, and many other topics. He is very excited for this year's musical "experience" and he hopes that you'll enjoy it just as much as he did!

Gena Byrnes
as The Drowsy Chaperone
Gena Byrnes is a senior this year. Past roles include Cousin Itt in The Addams Family, Grantaire in Les Miserables, Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast, and Mama Morton in Chicago. Gena enjoys all things music as well as reading in her spare time.

Haley Schroeder
as Mrs. Tottendale
Haley Schroeder is a senior at Mineral Point High School. She has been in choir for seven years. Last year, she was in Chicago, and this is year is playing Mrs. Tottendale in The Drowsy Chaperone.
