Matthew Albrecht (Lighting Designer) is a Lighting Designer and Associate Professor of Theatre at Millikin University and proud member of IATSE Local 482. Mathew received his BA in Theatre from St. Mary's and his M.F.A from UW-Madison (GO Badgers). Matt has had the opportunity to work with theaters and amusement parks all over the globe. Locally, Matt has worked with Peninsula Players, Madison Theatre Guild, Strollers Theatre, CTM, and Oregon Straw Hat Players. Currently, Matt spends his summers/falls as a resident lighting designer for Worlds of Fun Amusement Park in Kansas City and as an Assistant Lighting Designer at Cedar Point Amusement Park, and serves as the lead audio tech for the University of Illinois football team. He also helped design the lighting at the State Farm Center for The University of Illinois Men’s and Women's basketball games. As a professor, Matt developed a course called "Designing Disney" in which he brings 16 students to WALT DISNEY WORLD to meet with Disney designers and Imagineers to learn the art of theme park design. In his spare time...which isn't much... Matt can be found enjoying the outdoors or spending time on the lake, at his cabin, or Walt Disney World. Sara Bartlett (Choreographer) is a Verona native who holds a degree in Dance from Northwestern University. She danced professionally as a Radio City Rockette before returning home to work as a dance instructor and choreographer. Sara has choreographed over 50 musicals (!) and is the recipient of nine Jerry (nee Tommy) Awards for Outstanding Achievement in High School Musical Theater. Occasionally Sara can be seen back on stage; she has performed locally with Middleton Players Theatre, Four Seasons Theatre, Madison Ballet, and Madison Opera. She proudly serves as President of MPT's Board of Directors. Big thanks to Paul, Blue & Vi, and her amazing family and friends for their never ending support!
Alissa Berman (Production Stage Manager) is excited to be working again with Middleton Players Theatre. Alissa is a local artist who has stage managed for Four Seasons Theatre, UW Opera, and countless Middleton Players Theatre shows. Alissa is currently an active member of Middleton Players Theatre Board and is their Production Stage Manager for their 2024 season. Highlights from her past work with MPT include Avenue Q (2023, SM and Set Designer), The Spitfire Grill (2023, SM), and many other productions since 2015.
Danielle Bullock (The Kid) Danielle Bullock is ecstatic to be on stage again following her MPT debut as Josephine in Big Fish. Having just graduated from UW-Madison with degrees in Music and Theatre & Drama, she is returning in the fall to pursue a Masters in Vocal Performance. In her free time, Danielle can be found crafting, baking, or running around campus. She’d like to thank her voice teacher, Julia Rottmayer, her family, and her friends for their endless love and support. Enjoy the show!
Nathan Connor (Muskrat) is happy to be back on the Middleton Players’ stage! Other shows with MPT include: Sondheim on Sondheim, Musical of Musicals: The Musical, Parade, and as The Beast in Beauty and the Beast. Kate Jajewski (Female Swing, Assistant Director, Fight Choreographer) is thrilled to be back for her 21st production with Middleton Players! She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Theatre & Drama Department’s Acting Specialist program. Previous MPT credits include Big Fish (Sandra), Sondheim on Sondheim, The Spitfire Grill (Shelby), Musical of Musicals: The Musical (June), Sunday in the Park with George (Dot), Legally Blonde (Serena), Miss Saigon (Ellen), Ragtime (Emma Goldman), and A Chorus Line (Maggie). Other credits include Four Seasons Theatre’s The Hello Girls (Grace) and An Evening of Rodgers and Hammerstein; Music Theatre of Madison’s Who’s Your Baghdaddy?
