CAST BIOGRAPHIES
John Beard (Man 2 7/29-31) is appearing in his second show with Middleton Players Theatre, after he previously played Professor Callahan in MPT's 2018 production of Legally Blonde. He has appeared in numerous productions for Verona Area Community Theater, including Nathan in Guys and Dolls, Don in Singing in the Rain, Leo in The Producers, George in It’s a Wonderful Life: The Musical, and The Old Man in A Christmas Story: The Musical. John would like to dedicate his performances this weekend to his daughter, Alex, who shares his fondness for musical theater and will appreciate this show.
Isabel Celata (Woman 1 8/5-7) is excited to be making her Middleton Players Theatre debut! Isabel is a New Orleans native who spent the last six years in Memphis, TN. A classical soprano with a foundation in musical theatre, Isabel has previously been seen in a wide variety of roles. Favorites include Sophie Sheridan in Mamma Mia!, Heather Chandler in Heathers: The Musical, Marcy Park in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Johanna in Sweeney Todd, Krysia in Two Remain (Out of Darkness) and Zerlina in Don Giovanni. Isabel is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Musical Arts in Vocal Performance at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she studies with Julia Rottmayer. Love to Cece!
Nathan Connor (Man 2 8/5-7) is thrilled to be returning to the Middleton Players stage. He was last seen here in 2019, when he played Tom Watson in Parade and the Beast in Beauty and the Beast. Other favorite roles include Angus Tuck in Tuck Everlasting, Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar, John Wilkes Booth in Assassins and Pseudolus in Forum. Nathan would like to thank his family for their continued support and a special thank you to Shanna, Nathan’s person for life.
Dan John Jajewski (Man 1 7/29-31) is happy to be returning to the MPT stage in his 18th show with them! Previous MPT credits include: Mark (Rent), Peter (Jesus Christ Superstar), Soldier (Sunday in the Park with George), Horton (Seussical the Musical), Younger Brother (Ragtime), Anthony (Sweeney Todd), and Gaston (Beauty and the Beast). Dan would like to thank his wife Kate and his sister Colleen for their constant love and support. Keep the arts alive!
Kate Jajewski (Woman 1 7/29-31) is thrilled to be back for her 16th production with Middleton Players and back in the theatre! She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Theatre & Drama Department’s Acting Specialist program. Previous MPT credits include Sunday in the Park with George (Dot), Legally Blonde (Serena), Crazy for You (Patsy), Ragtime (Emma Goldman), A Chorus Line (Maggie), Rent, 42nd Street (u/s Peggy Sawyer), and Jesus Christ Superstar (u/s Mary Magdalene). Other recent credits include Children’s Theatre of Madison’s Stellaluna (Mother Bird); Music Theatre of Madison’s Indecent (Swing) and Held: A Musical Fantasy (Mera); Four Seasons Theatre’s The Little Mermaid; and Madison Theatre Guild’s Rock of Ages (Sherrie). Endless love to Dan, my favorite goofaloo.
Jessica Kasinski (Woman 2 8/5-7) is so grateful to be returning to the MPT stage! Having performed roles such as Nettie Fowler in Carousel, Caiaphas in Jesus Christ Superstar, and Mayor Matilda Hyde in All Shook Up, she branched out and worked with Stage Q for their production of Cabaret as Fraulein Schneider and with Four Seasons Theatre in 1776 as the indomitable Edward Rutledge. Ms. Kasinski is a scholarly performer, holding degrees in History and Music from Temple University, Florida State University, and UW-Madison. She hopes that you enjoy the show!
Danielle Olstead (Woman 2 7/29-31) is thrilled to return to the stage with MPT’s 2022 summer production! A graduate of UW-Stevens Point Music and Theatre programs, she has been active in community theater in southern Wisconsin since her teenage years – with her first community show being Oklahoma! Locally, she has worked with MTG, St. Bernard Players, VACT, and was last seen on stage in MPT’s 2019 production of Parade as Sally Slaton. She would like to thank the many teachers, directors, choreographers, designers, actors, crews, musicians, and all the “theater people” she has worked with along the way, as well as the MPT production staff for the opportunity to be a part of this show!
