Welcome to the Metropolitan Ballet’s inaugural performance of The Nutcracker. I would like to extend warm wishes to you from the Board of Directors during this glorious holiday season. We are grateful you chose to spend this magical time of the year with our family to enjoy this classic celebration. Tchaikovsky’s whimsical ballet of a girl who dreams of a prince has become a staple of many holiday traditions.  We invite you to relax and enjoy the performance as our dancers take you from a warm hearth into the Land of Sweets.
