    Bruce Joel Rubin won an Academy Award for his original screenplay, GHOST. The film was also nominated for Best Picture. He has written numerous other screenplays including Jacob’s Ladder, Deep Impact, Stuart Little 2, The Last Mimzy, The Time Traveler’s Wife and My life, which he also directed. He is currently working with his son Ari on a TV series for the Syfy channel.

Ballard has most recently had success writing hit songs for film, including the Grammy-winning and Oscar-nominated Believe for Polar Express, Ordinary Miracle for Charlotte’s Web, and A Hero Comes Home for Beowulf.

    Stage Manager, Shirley Ferguson

    Sydney Moore is a sophomore who’s been involved in drama for 7 years. Her favorite role has been stage manager in all the high school plays since Mrs. Moore began. She would like to thank her family, and a special thanks to Sophie for always doing her hair. “I know all of the hard work we put into this musical will pay off, even if I don’t want the seniors to leave.”

    Marissa Oliver is a senior who plans to attend ISU’s Mennonite College of Nursing. This is her first year as a crew member; she’s been a cast member in every play since her sixth grade year. She would like to thank her family for supporting her in all that she does, and also Mrs. Moore for allowing her to be a part of each amazing show. “Every year ends with mixed emotions because another season is over with people you’ve grown so close to. In drama, we become a family, and I am so glad I got to be a part of that one last time. Break a leg guys! I’ll miss you like crazy!”
