Avery Ward

as Sour Kangaroo

Avery ward is a Freshman at MHS. This is her second show with MHS Theatre. She has been in musicals since Elementary school, her favorites would have to be Wizard Of Oz, Honk, and Annie. Avery is so excited to learn and grow though her years in high school and is so excited for opportunity’s in the future.
Layla Burch

as Young Kangaroo

Layla Burch is a Sophomore at MHS. This is her 4th musical at MHS. She has been in musical theater since 6th grade. She is very thankful to be apart of this amazing show, and would like to thank everyone who has supported her.
Jayden Barrett

as Mr. Mayor

Jayden is a senior at Melissa High School. He has been in theatre since his sophomore year. He has starred in many productions, such as Howard in Moon Over Buffalo, Mr. Scary/Daddy in Junie B. Jones, and Bryce in Edward Tulane. He's so excited to star in an amazing production with wonderful directors and a fantastic cast.
Emily Dalton

as Mrs. Mayor

Emily Dalton is a Sophomore at MHS. This will be her second high school performance. She was previously seen in Matilda, and a play in middle school called The Game of Tiaras. She is very excited to be a part of this lovely organization and is ecstatic for opening night.
Maggie Haddock

as Bird Girl

I have been in theatre since middle school, doing musicals like Into The Woods and One Act UIL plays such as Secret Garden. My favorite role has been Bakers Wife from Into The Woods.
