Doctor Dolittle Jr. - July 14

McLaughlin Theatre Company

 End Notes

Notes from the Directors

This show has been unconventional to say the least. Our production team was learning how to navigate this new normal alongside the cast and somehow we all managed to come out the otherside with a show! These actors and actresses really gave their all through schedule changes, zoom rehearsals, masks, social distancing, and more! Most adult "professional" actors would have quit under these circumstances, but not our cast. They were the lights on the stage more so than our LEDs. They came to rehearsals with laughter and smiles (we assume, as everyone had masks on) and a level of optimism that was a welcome change of pace from the outside world. We are truly sorry that we didn't have the normal rehearsal process for our students, but given the circumstances we couldn't have asked for a better cast of kids and families to support each other through it. We hope to see everyone soon! Congratulations!
