Hello and Welcome to MTC's Fiddler on the Roof Jr.! We are very excited to have you join us in the retelling of this beloved classic. Fiddler on the Roof Jr. follows Tevye the milkman as he tries to protect his five daughters and his way of life from a changing world. The show tackles the universal theme of tradition in ways that reach across barriers of race, class, nationality, and religion. We were so fortunate to have cultural guidance from Jacob Fefer as we navigated through the process of telling such a historical and poignant story.
I would also like to say thank you to the wonderful and patient parents for all of your help putting this production together. The students have been fun to work with and worked hard learning their songs, lines and dances for you to enjoy tonight! Thank you for coming and enjoy the show!
