NOTES FROM THE DIRECTORS

Taking on the production of The Lion King Jr. has been a daunting but exciting adventure for us!  After over 90 students auditioned in the fall, we knew we would have a hit on our hands.  We are incredibly proud of these students; they are talented and work hard every day to bring the show to life.  As a true ensemble show with much of the cast appearing on stage every few pages, these students have risen to the occasion and learned an incredible amount of lines, songs, and dances.  The creativity and energy have been unparalleled.

Cast, we would like to thank you for the heart and soul you have given to this production.  Every single one of you has an important role in the play and we appreciate the time and dedication you’ve given as well.  Eighth graders, you have been fabulous role models for the seventh and sixth graders and we will miss you next year!  Seventh graders, you have stepped up and grown into role models as well.  Sixth graders, we have been grateful for your maturity and can’t wait to see where you go from here!
