Megan Assenmacher-Umthun

as Miss Adelaide

Megan has appeared in prior MCT productions including "Godspell" and "Annie". She is a Marshalltown resident, originally from Bettendorf. Megan is the MHS drill team coach and choreographer and also is an instructor at Devine Dancers in Des Moines. She appeared under the name of Megan Loreen as a competitive and professional aerial dancer. She also is an accomplished saxophone player!
Nathan Bloomquist

as Angie the Ox

Nathan has appeared on the MCT stage in several productions including "Peter Pan", "Alone Together" and "The Laramie Project". He was assistant director for this season's "Mr. Popper's Penguins" and has extensive technical credits with MCT, high school and college productions. He is currently the store leader at GameStop.
Shelby Butcher

as Clara - Mission Band Member

Shelby makes her MCT debut with this production. She is a Marshalltown native who works for REM, assisting adults with disabilities. She and husband, Ryan, have a three year old son, Eli. She loves to sing and dance. Welcome Shelby!
Libby Crawford

as Sarah Brown

Libby is a Marshalltown native studying musical theatre at Western Illinois University. She was last seen on the MCT stage as Wendy in last year's "Peter Pan". She also played Belle in the MHS production of "Beauty and the Beast". She is assisting with this summer's MCT Kids Acting Academy and, when not acting, singing or dancing, she enjoys writing and watching TV.
Aaron DeBoer

as Rusty Charlie

Aaron last appeared in MCT's production of "Mr. Popper's Penguins". His prior credits also include principal roles in "Les Miserables" and "The Wizard of Oz" in other theater venues. Aaron also appeared in another production of "Guys and Dolls" where he played a gangster. He is currently employed at the MCC bookstore and is a board member with the Friends of the Library locally.
