Liz McGahey
Liz is beyond excited to be directing Into the Woods alongside her good friend and colleague, Lee Lowery. This is Liz’s 20th year of directing the musicals at MHS, with past productions including Mary Poppins, Little Women, and more. Liz holds a Bachelors of Music Education and Voice and a Masters in Opera Performance from the CCM at UC and a Masters in School Counseling from Xavier. Currently, Liz conducts the Mariemont Junior High and High School Choirs. Liz would like to sincerely thank Elizabeth Pille, our incredible choreographer, Dennis Konigschnecht and the set design team, and Sarah McEvoy for all of the time and dedication they have put into making this production a success. She would also like to thank her family for their love and support over these busy months of production. In my 20 years of directing, never has there been such a talented and dedicated cast. You are incredible young people and it has been an honor to work with you. Break a leg!!

Lee Lowery-Harris
Mrs. Lowery-Harris is thrilled to once again be working as the Assistant Director of this year’s musical. She has worked on numerous MHS productions over the last twenty years. She would like to thank the cast for being such an amazing and talented group (especially the seniors!). She would also like to thank Mrs. McGahey for her tireless attention to detail, Elizabeth Pille for her brilliant choreography, and Sarah McEvoy for her musical leadership. Their professionalism and knowledge have made working with them a joy. She would especially like to thank all of the students working backstage. Their effort was essential to this show’s success. She would also like to thank her family, Jeff & Emma and her parents, and the MHS administration and staff for being so supportive through the long hours of preparation. Finally, she would like to let the Mariemont Fine Arts Association and all of the parents know how much they are appreciated. Enjoy the show!
