Notes from the Director . . .

Welcome to the Maranatha Christian Schools Elementary/Junior High production of “Frozen Jr.” This musical is based on the Hans Christian Anderson fairy tale “The Snow Queen” and the Disney film which premiered in 2013 at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood.

A story of true love and acceptance, this is an emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa. When faced with danger, the princesses discover their hidden potential and their powerful love for each other, these sisters learn to show their love through difficult circumstances. We too should learn to show our love to those difficult people and circumstances that face us!

Tonight you will meet many beloved characters besides Anna and Elsa that can teach us so much about loving one another.

Loaded with magic, adventure and plenty of humor, Frozen Jr. is sure to thaw even the coldest of hearts!

This has been quite a journey for all involved, from staging, costuming, choreography and set builds it has taken an army to bring this beautiful production to life! I personally want to thank all the amazing parent volunteers and grandparents that have stepped up to help. The love and “putting someone else’s needs before yours” that each volunteer has shown is humbling to me and greatly appreciated. You are the hands and feet of Jesus and I am honored to be working with all of you!
