Aleksa is exhilarated to share this captivating classic with an audience. Little Women isher final production at Mahtomedi, and she is so grateful for the abundance of experience thatthis environment has offered her. Throughout high school, Aleksa has dabbled in stage makeup,costume design, and stage managing. While she won’t be participating in theatre during college,the lessons she has learned about leadership, organization, and communication will no doubtplay into her everyday life at the University of Minnesota, where she will be majoring in businessmanagement.

Joseph Wald

Lighting Designer/Light Board Operator

Joseph Wald is an aspiring lighting designer and is proud to have Little Women as his first show at Mahtomedi that he has taken a lead role in designing. Previously Joseph has designed lights for Fame and You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown at the Hanifl Performing Arts Center. Joseph plans to attend Cornell College majoring in Mathematics and Data Science while continuing his passion for theater and lighting design.

Craig Tarnowski

Deck Captain

Craig enters Little Women as an experienced carpenter and technician. He has spent the majority of his high school career backstage, with the exception of his two acting roles in Almost, Maine and Radium Girls. Prior to this show Craig was part of set construction and ran backstage crews. As Deck Chief for Little Women, he assumed control and direction of a relatively new crew, and is proud of their ability to learn and adapt. He plans on entering college to study engineering after high school, He hopes you are amazed and astonished by the set, and enjoy the show!
