“The Wiz” was a revolutionary show when it opened on Broadway in 1974. Within a year of opening this show was honored with 7 Tony Awards, including Best Musical. “The Wiz” is an unconventional retelling of “The Wizard of Oz.” It continues to be a favorite show for community and high school theatres even today. This production marks the second time Luella High School has brought this fun and lively show to the stage. The show met with great success in 2007 and we know you are going to love version 2013!
