Notes from the Directors
We are extremely proud of the students and their undertaking of a musical production of this kind. The second ever 3rd grade Broadway Musical Production has been extremely time consuming and especially hard on the specials teachers and 3rd grade teachers. We have asked the special area teachers to give up their teaching time so that we could have rehearsal. We greatly appreciate their support in this venture. The 3rd grade classroom teachers as well have given up time in the classroom so that we could have extra rehearsals. This makes all the difference. To the parents who have made costumes, purchased items, and spent countless hours assisting us in this venture, it could not have been a success without you!
We want take a moment to thank all of the 3rd grade students for rising to the challenge of the second Broadway musical at Lone Oak Elementary. You did a tremendous job! Even on the days when we were not happy, you still pulled it together to make it all happen. You are awesome and we are so proud of your accomplishments! Never let anyone tell you that you cannot do something.
To Mrs. Darnall, thank you for believing in Mrs. Blackwell and I when we came to you with this big venture. You supported us, funded us, and gave us the motivation we needed to make it happen. Thank you giving us this opportunity.
We look forward to more experiences like this for each student at Lone Oak Elementary.
Break a Leg!
Mrs. Blackwell and Mr. Davidson
