This year’s production of “Aladdin” is the second year in a row for a Broadway show at Lone Oak Elementary. The 3rd grade students, Mrs. Blackwell, and Mr. Davidson would like to acknowledge the following for their work with us on the second Broadway Musical at Lone Oak Elementary School. 

 

  • Mrs. Darnall for allowing us to venture into this area of musical productions and for her leadership that led to a program of this caliber. 
  • Mrs. Blackwell for countless hours working with the 3rd grade students on their drama and dance parts in the musical. 
  • Mr. Smith for creating the backdrop, mask, the medallions, and various other items needed for the musical. 
  • Mrs. Keeling for pulling the curtain and keeping us in line behind the curtain. 
  • Mr. Hedges for motivating us to do our best and making sure we act that way. 
  • Our 3rd grade teachers for allowing us time to rehearse during the school day and helping us learn our music by playing it in the classroom. 
  • Mr. Johnson for being supportive and encouraging the 3rd graders to do their very best. 
  • Ms. Brijit Stiles for putting together the playbill and making sure it is the best it can be. 
  • Paducah Rheumatology and Davis Drugs Lone Oak for sponsoring our Aladdin t-shirts. 
  • Mrs. Tara Moore and the MCHS art students face paint crew for making sure we look good for our parts. 
  • Mrs. Anne-Marie Whitis for getting the t-shirt order for us because we look good. 
  • Mr. Jon and Mrs. Kari Farris for building the vendor carts.  
  • Ms. Jodi Archbold for assisting with communication on the playbill ads.
  • Mrs. Heather Anderson for taking care of our props.  
  • Mrs. Brittany Elder and her mother for sewing items needed for the costumes and props.
  • Vivien Worthen-Powell at the Barnlot Theater in Glasgow, KY for allowing us to use costumes for the show. 
  • Anonymous donation for the medallions and cast party. 
  • Mrs. Darla and Mrs. Holly for taking phone calls and paperwork for the musical. 
  • Mr. Paul for making sure the stage was clean and helped set up the risers. 
  • Ms. Barbie, Mr. Rick, and Mr. Keith for setting up the chairs and cleaning up after the program. 
  • Our parents for believing in us that we could do anything!
