Staff Bios
Jill Henwood - Director
Peter Pan Jr. is Jill's sixth production with LU Musical Theater, but as a 1995 graduate of Liberty Union she has been involved in productions at LU for many years. Jill has directed at the local community theatre level for more than 20 years. She currently directs at Victoria Players Children's Theater and was honored to be a guest director at Wagnalls Community Theatre last fall. In 2020, Jill won the Spirit of Community Theatre award from the Ohio Community Theatre Association (OCTA). In 2021, she joined OCTA as a regional rep. Additionally, she volunteers for the Baltimore Downtown Restoration Committee and works as a graphic designer and production coordinator for Fairfield Medical Center.
Emily Fisher - Music Director/Producer
Emily Fisher has taught Vocal Music at Liberty Union Middle and High Schools since 2006. She enjoys teaching both the choirs and piano students from grades 6-12. She graduated from Capital University with a Bachelor of Music Education Degree in 2006 and received her Master of Music Education Degree with a Kodály Emphasis from Capital University in 2012. Emily also holds a teaching endorsement in Gifted Education from Ashland University. Originally from Zanesville, she loves living in Baltimore with her boys and husband, Nic, who is a dedicated behind the scenes supporter of our theater program.
