Welcome to our production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream! When I looked at the makeup of this class I immediately started reading scripts knowing that Midsummer would be the show if I couldn’t find anything else I liked. Obviously, I couldn’t find anything I liked any better than this show; plus, this group of students has been the perfect group to perform it with. You see, I played Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at North Greenville College (that’s what it was called at the time) when I was a junior in high school. My Mom worked there as an English professor and the opportunity to audition presented itself. It was an incredible experience and so very funny. Due to this experience, I have always had this show on my bucket list to direct. It has been a challenge for the students, but also a lot of fun. Thank you so much to the parents for supporting our production by helping in the lobby and feeding us, especially Kevin Mulligan who organizes it all for us.
