Jeffery Griffith
as Drosselmeyer's Nephew / Nutcracker Prince
Jeffery Griffith was born in Evansville, Indiana. At age 15, Jeffery moved to Los Angeles, California. He graduated with honors from the Grand Arts School of Visual and Performing Arts with a concentration in dance. He studied dance at the University of Arizona for 3 years where he performed numerous works. Most notably, Jeffery performed the Deer Solo in Jose Limon’s The Unsung. Jeffery previously was a dancer for Artifact Dance Project for two seasons. During his last season he was a soloist featured in A Painted Devil and Goliath: A Story Retold. Griffith is currently working on new works with Hawkinsdance, Tucson’s leading contemporary company.
This will be Griffith’s second Nutcracker with Legacy Ballet Foundation and fourth show being featured as a Guest Artist. Jeffery loves seeing the students progress throughout rehearsal and is humbled to be a part of their growth as dancers.

Jason has been working as a professional choreographer / instructor in the industry for more than 15 years. He began his career in a world-renowned franchised dance studio and was one of the top instructors over 5 years. Jason is a former competitive ballroom and latin dancer who has performed all over the United States. He continues to educate students of all levels through fun and his passion for teaching dance.

Darren McIntyre
as Sugar Plum Cavalier
Originally from Australia, Darren McIntyre is a graduate of The Australian Ballet School where he was the recipient of The Dame Peggy Van Praagh Award for Choreography, The Sir Robert Helpmann Bursary, The Young Australian of The Year Arts Award & was a Bronze Medalist at the Society of Dance Awards Australia.
Darren was selected to represent Australia at the Prix de Lausanne in Switzerland and invited to represent The USA at The 4th International Ballet Festival of South America in Colombia.Mr. McIntyre has toured extensively throughout the United States, Australia, Asia, Canada, Europe and South America.
