We have all been in high school and either not sure where we fit in or very set in our ways with our own special group. I, myself, was a bit of an odd ball in high school and really connected with High School Musical when I was a child. It was that connection, along with the revival of the musical through the series on Disney+, that led us to pick High School Musical as the show for this summer at Leeds Art Council. No matter if you grew up with the original movie, like I did, or just recently enjoyed the musical, you are sure to find something that you connect with in this production. So, sit back and make sure you get lost in the music with us and don’t be afraid to join in on the group songs if you know the words. Ms Victoria
This years summer musical performance is dedicated to the wonderful Debbie Landry. Debbie has been a Board Member and Theatre Chair for over 12 years for LAC. She has served tirelessly and worn many hats during her tenure, always with a happy heart and ready smile. A few months ago, she and her husband Ron made the decision to relocate to Indiana to be closer to their children and grandchildren. We are sad to see her leave but excited for her next journey in life. This one is for you Debbie! We love you so very much and wish you all the happiness in the world on your next adventure!
Also, many thanks to everyone that helped with set construction, technical assistance, prop gathering, costuming and everything else that happens during a production run. We also would like to thank our wonderful Board of Directors for all of their constant support.
